Rachel's Room

Rachel felt a little left out after all the room switching so we gave her the big bed from Tessa's old room and some new bedding. We also painted an old dresser and put on new knobs. Now she says it's her favorite room in the house.

Grace and Tessa's Room

The nesting phase is in full swing. We had to begin by putting Grace and Tessa in the biggest bedroom because they will be sharing. John went golfing and I completely emptied out both Julia's room and Grace's room into the halls and deeep cleaned into the corners etc. He came home to a surprise project of disassembling and reassembling furniture in the proper rooms. Justin and Lisa were so nice to haul over 2 pink dressers from Ikea which I put some of my own touches on (glass handles from ebay). Check out the darling letters I found on ebay also! Julia's room is coming along nicely but I will wait to post pictures until the ebay artwork arrives and I have a window seat cushion made. It is kind of fun and the girls are doing a great job keeping their new room clean (so far).

Monday (by Tessa)

We had another picnic at the park today. I love this spring weather! Mom made us play hard. I think she was trying to wear us out on purpose. I crashed fast asleep in Albertsons though and Emily crashed on the couch at home. Her plan may have backfired because now we are all set to party all night. Yippee!

Saturday (by Grace)

We woke up extra early this morning. We like to do that on Saturdays - I don't know why. My cousins are still here and mom made a yummy french breakfast of hot cocoa and sour dough baguette.Then she put us to work. She was nice enough to let us take one break for a picnic lunch at the park. The weather is beautiful! I hope it lasts.

Our Wonderful Day (by Amanda)

I am staying with my one of my very favorite Aunts Joelle this week while my parents are in Italy. We are having a great time! Today we went to the mall, Target and Chuck E Cheese. Joelle didn't even lose 1 kid all day! We learned yesterday not to let the 3 year olds take a power nap because they will keep everyone up way too late! We are allowed to eat as many Krispy Kreme donuts as we want every day! -- just kidding dad.

Happy Birthday To Me

It was a very fun day today. John, Tessa and I went to La Vie En Rose for breakfast. It was quite yummy. Tessa is a little angel to take places when she is by herself. Next I went to a spa for a facial (thanks Jeane!) and then off to a tennis lesson. We all went out to dinner at our favorite Mexican place and then had cake at home. The girls and John picked out lots of fun shirts for me.
